Flank Steak Marinade
A make-ahead and freezable delicious marinade for grilling.

Ingredients
Amount | Ingredient |
---|---|
1.5 lb | Flank Steak |
1/4 C | Olive Oil |
1/2 C | Firmly Packed Brown Sugar |
1/4 C | Balsamic Vinegar |
1 T | Minced Garlic |
1 tsp | Ground Ginger |
Substitutions:
- 1 T of fresh minced ginger for the 1 tsp of ground ginger
- 1/4 C Red Wine for Balsamic Vinegar
Directions
- Combine all ingredients (except flank steak) in a bowl.
- Pour marinade over steak in a gallon bag and refrigerate at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
You can also freeze the steak + marinade in the gallon bag for future use. Useful for BOGO sales.
